Branding and design is important to building any business or place. While I was the President-CEO from 1994-2006 of the Downtown Tempe Community, the business improvement district association that manages and markets Mill Avenue and downtown Tempe, Scott Curtis was our designer and brand manager. In addition to his work on our design projects, he conducted an extensive branding exercise with our 11 member Executive Committee. It was a great process and an even better product! Scott educated us, guided us and listened to us as we developed the new brand.

When it came time for my wife and I to retire from our Tempe positions, we engaged Scott to guide the development of the branding and label design for Keeling Schaefer Vineyards. Over the past 12 seasons, our wine has won many awards, has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, rated 27 times by Wine Spectator and sold in stores and restaurants throughout Arizona.

Working with Scott on our own design projects has been great, but Scott is also the go-to guy for our regional marketing group, the Willcox Wine Country partnership, developing all of our print ads, our new website and social media. My recent election as the President of the Arizona Wine Growers Association coincides with our selection of Scott as the association’s new designer and brand manager for Arizona Wine. I look forward to working with Scott for many years to come.

What I like the most about the Brand Navigator is that you get the best of two worlds: the experience and ability of a top-notch design firm and the personalized touch and time investment of a boutique design house. We needed quite a bit of hand-holding as we set forth trying to visually capture our brand and the Brand Navigator provided the perfect balance of creative suggestion and expert implementation.

Logo, packaging, advertising, business cards, letterhead, invoices, shipping container, corporate image, first impressions, meaning, understanding who you are, and what you do, are all pieces of the corporate identity puzzle.

Scott Curtis of the Brand Navigator was selected to lead and create Harter’s new solution based message and image with the mission to reflect our multi-faceted capabilities as a fast solution provider for aircraft components within the aviation aftermarket industry.

I wanted to take a moment to thank you for all of the years of creative design, service and implementation in the branding my company, Phase III/Oil Sponge. You listened to what message I was trying to communicate to our customers and translated it into what I believe, as well as many of our clients do, one of the most attractive websites in our industry. You completed our branding with letterhead, business cards, promotional materials, catalogs, product labeling and trade show displays, which has made us a much more professional and dynamic business that sets us apart from all of our competitors. Your ability to listen, suggest and come up with a solution is truly appreciated. You never forced your opinions, only suggested creative changes that might enhances the experience of people viewing our site and literature.

Thinking back on our original meeting many years ago, I really had no idea where to start, but I had an idea in my mind of what I wanted. My vision could not have become reality if it wasn’t for you. Your ability to simplify, teach and explain the potential of social media is why we chose you to brand my two new business start-ups and now, I even have a blog now… thank you for showing me the way.

Many times companies think we are a giant, based solely on the design and content of our website… without your services; we would have been lost in a constantly growing and saturated market.

Always looking forward to working with you on our next project.

We have used Scott Curtis’s services since we first opened our business in 2008. He has done multiple projects for us including our logo, stationary, website, coupons, magazine ads, direct mail ads, and T-shirt designs. We are a small business and the cost of customized branding is naturally a concern. However, we feel that the consistent and professional image Scott produces for our business has been an excellent investment.

One of the things we value most about Scott’s work is his outstanding graphic design skill. He can make anything look good and does an amazing job of creating products that are both visually appealing and effectively communicate our message. Scott is also extremely versatile. His ability to produce excellent work in both web and multiple print mediums makes it simple and easy for us to keep our image consistent throughout our marketing materials.

We appreciate that Scott has always been very prompt at meeting deadlines and is helpful and responsive when we have requested edits or had questions. We highly recommend Scott Curtis for his excellent graphic design and branding work.

We have had the pleasure of working with Scott Curtis at Curtis Design Group for over 10 years. During this time Scott has consulted with and advised us on, designed and created brand campaigns, websites, content creation, marketing and launch materials, logo concepts, brand identities and more while guiding us on a track that lead to an identity that we are not only most proud of, but have received nothing but positive feedback from our clients, competitors, suppliers and anyone who has come in contact with Clean It Up.

We are in the process of creating an all new website along with a thorough analysis and enhancements to our brand, and we never had a second thought about who would lead that endeavor.

At every stage in every interaction with Scott no matter the subject matter, he has been one of the most professional, friendly, knowledgeable and fully interactive experts we could have ever imagined having the pleasure of working with and we are positively honored to know Scott and to call him a highly valued collaborator and friend.

Over seven years ago I sat down with Scott to discuss a  business dream I had; In fact our first product wasn’t even finished yet but he was still willing to sit down and speak with me. Scott listened to my story and gave me the upmost respect during the entire time. The most amazing part of the conversation is just that…he listened. At the end of the meeting he shook my hand and said that he would have six or more ideas to run by me within a week.  Guess what, a week later I think I had 6-7 amazing brand/logos from him! They were all great but we went with this one you see here; I actually had a very difficult time choosing between three of them.

There isn’t a week that goes by where I don’t hear the words “hey, your logo is awesome”. I don’t care how big or small your business is you can never get tired of hearing that! A lot of things have changed in our niche/business since that first meeting but one thing I know for sure is that our brand will always remain the same. Thanks’ Scott!!!”
